Comments: Moved to Los Angeles after the 1906 fire destroyed his studio. Also painted scenes of Chinatown and sketched in Yosemite in 1911. P&H Samuels report that he may be Charles Rogers who painted a San Francisco panorama in 1856 and worked at the Lyceum Theater in 1859.
