Comments: Trained as a watchmaker he came to New Orleans by 1868. He opened a photographic studio in 1884 and recorded many subjects, including views around the city, neighborhoods and countryside, sugar plantations along the lower Mississippi River and views of the 1884 World's Exposition. Halfbrother of Andre Mugnier(see entry).
