1532:Was back in England and became court painter to Henry VIII.
1528:Returned to Basel, Switzerland.
1526:Lived in Antwerp, Belgium furnished by Erasmus with a letter of introduction to Pieter GILLIS, the Town Clerk, where he met Quentin METSYS.
1526:Worked in England as a portraitist from Thomas MORE’s circle.
1524:Visited Lyon, Amboise, Fontainebleau and Bourges, France. Presence in Bourges is indicated by his drawings of the tomb sculptures of Duc de Berry and his wife, which were in Ducal Palace. As a result of his France’s trip the influence of Jean CLOUET
1519:He became a master in the Painter’s Guild.
1517 – 1519:Rejoined his father and worked in Lucerne, Switzerland for HERTENSTEIN family.
1515:Lived in Basel, Switzerland and was joined by his brother Ambrosius.
