Comments: He had a brief career as a viewmaker, beginning in 1854 with the publication of his lithograph of Burlington, VT. The remaining eleven of his recorded views appeared by 1860, showing towns in Vermont and New Hampshire as well as Ogdensburg, NY. They were printed by Endicott & Co. (see entry), J.H.Bufford (see entry) and L.H.Bradford (see entry). Beginning in 1862 he concentrated on photography and invented and patented the silvertype process'.
