Comments: The firm originally consisted of George Murray, John Draper, and Gideon Fairman. Later members included Jacob Perkins, Asa Spencer, and Christian Gobrecht. With the withdrawal in 1818 of Draper, the firm became Murray, Fairman & Co. (see entries on each individual and firm).
