Comments: He was drawing on stone as early as 1837, when his map of East Boston was printed by Thomas Moore's shop (see entry). He was active with B.W. Thayer & Co. (see entry for Benjamin W. Thayer), 1841-42. Pierce & Slautterback state that he is possibly the same as Edwin Moody (see entry), who appears in San Francisco lithographic circles in 1850.
