Comments: He and one of his pupils, Charles William Eldridge (see entry), worked in partnership that was similar to Waldo & Jewett. After Eldridge had studied for a year with Parker in Hartford, they joined together and for the next nine years painted portraits in NYC, Vermont (1833), and in the South, until Parker retired due to illness.
