Comments: He began as a cartoonist and illustrator in Chicago, Cleveland, and NYC, with works appearing in Sat. Eve. Post, Ladies Home Journal, Literary Digest and other magazines. In the early 1930s, he became art director of a leading Cleveland advertising agency, producing commercial illustrations for Cadillac, GE, and Mazda Lamps. By the early 1940s, he was painting watercolor landscapes and boating scenes in Florida, the Bahamas, Nantucket, and Maine. Teacher: Cleveland IA, 1921-23.
