Comments: Came to U.S. in 1890 but returned to Paris at age 20 and studied for 3 years at the Sorbonne. In 1909 he returned to the U.S. and established his studio in Wash., DC. He executed a series of wreaths for the Lincoln Memorial, and also took part in the restoration of the White House in the 1940s.
