Comments: The most successful commercial illustrator of his era, he is best known for his ads for the "Arrow Collar Man," which created a sensation and brought him a fortune (which he spent freely through the 1930s and died destitute). He created 321 covers for the Saturday Evening Post, beginning 1899.
