As the first contemporary art fair in Dubai, Art Dubai has become a cornerstone of the Middle East’s booming art community. The 2008 fair will host nearly seventy galleries from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, North and South America, North Africa and Australia in addition to hosting a strong programme of artist’s projects.

Global Art Forum The Global Art Forum was launched in March 2007. This hugely successful initiative of Art Dubai brought together 40 of the art world’s leading artists, curators, museum directors, and professionals to discuss issues that currently affect contemporary art and will define its future. The 2008 Forum will continue to create links between East and West through the exploration of professional and public interests in art; it will also examine public support for the arts, corporate and private collecting and art patronage.
