This charming little unframed piece - in perfect condition - is signed with initials only. It was bought at THERIAULT'S Auction in SHORT HILLS, NEW JERSEY on April 26, 2009.This artwork was part of a series of preliminary sketches for oil paintings. The sketch depicts a mother encouraging her child, braced by a classic wooden walker, to walk toward her. It is of particular interest to doll collectors.
