This work from the GUTAI period (1954-1972) is rare and of a high painting quality.  It comes directly from the artist's studio in Japan.  It was recently exhibited at the Saatchi and Lévy Gorvy galleries in London between February and May 2017 (it is therefore reproduced in an exhibition catalog on page 17 - which will be offered to the buyer of the painting).  This work is physically visible in Paris.
