A place of power and inspiration for a landscape painter is a small town on the Volga - Plyos. Situated on the high bank of the river, its architecture and picturesque attractions attract artists from all over the world. The discoverer of these places was the artist Isaac Levitan. The view from the opposite shore of the town at sunset with reflexes in the water fits quite picturesquely into the picture.
