David Gentleman (1930-) is a living English artist who specialises in pen and ink pictures with a wide variety of subjects, rural and urban landscapes, illustrations, logos, murals, lithography and wood engraving.  He also designed postage stamps and large murals for the London Underground.  A multi talented artists whose work is sought after by many collectors of his works.  The garden landscape looks to be very personal, the signature is well hidden where he usually signs in a distinguished and direct manner and consequently we think this may well be his own garden at his London home.
