Mention "Asger Jorn" by Lennart Wilkmar in addition to his mention "Tilbudt til Lennart Wilkmar" (offered to) on the canvas. Mention "(Malet) 1949" of the year of Jorn's donation. Provenance: Collection Lennart Wilkmar (1923-2007) from 1949. The title « Movets » (Movements) is not illustrating the main feeling while observing the painting. It shows us a mask decorated in Dominos which evokes a gaz mask with its filter as the type used during the war period in Denmark. An historical piece of the Cobra school confirmed by the Cobra Museum of Amstelveen in the Netherlands : "Your study was very interesting to read and it is good to know that you rediscovered a painting made by Asger Jorn for future studies and maybe even exhibitions."
