Born in a family with artistic tradition, Juan ANDUJAR studied music while cultivated plastic arts.

His father, -José-, is the director of the Emilio Prud'Homme's Music Academy in Loma de Cabrera, Dominican Republic; His uncle, Juan Plutarco ANDUJAR is one of the major Dominican painters of the 20th century. 

He participated, -from 2000 to 2004-, at the exposition "United by Art", with other local artists. 

Later, he graduated from the National School of Fine Arts in Santo Domingo.

Since then, he has participated in numerous exhibitions in the Caribbean & Europe, and has been awarded several times, considerated as one of the young talents in his country (Regional Youth Award, Santo Domingo Recognition Medal, Casa de Teatro Award...).
