In the triptych "Basilio" (3 x 50 x 150 cm) the colors vary with a wide variety of red, purple, blue, white, green and are composed in such a way that they maintain the unity of the painting. The drawing consists of brushstrokes, which provide a completely convincing image of nature and owes its vibrancy to the brilliant colors, the unexpected contrasts and the sharp accents.​
