Theodora BERNARDINI - Parfaite harmonie - Abstraction lyrique

Still a child, Theodora already had a pencil in her hand, and at the age of ten she began taking drawing lessons. Then came the oil painting, which remains her favorite discipline. The beginnings are figurative, with 13 years of academic learning.

The Impressionists and their chromatic spectrum influence her : Paul Gauguin, Vincent van Gogh, Auguste Renoir, Maurice Denis, Marx Ernst, Nicolas de Staël, Marc Rothko, David Hockney..….

Théodora exploits different mediums, oil, pastel, mixed technics, contrast of smooth and dullness, smooth and textured. She triturates the materials.

From then on, she will win many prizes and distinctions in the following years. Public auctions from 1988. Théodora's collectors are in France, Switzerland, U.S.A., Luxembourg, Austria, Poland, Italy, Hong Kong, Mexico.
